Jeffrey Pinyan, author of Praying the Mass, has developed an online cross reference search engine for Catholic resources called Catholic Cross Reference. Pinyan was also associated with the Read the Catechism in a Year email campaign distributed by FlockNote during the Year of Faith. This reference tool has four search engines: 1) Catechism; 2) Pope Francis speeches; 3) the Summa and 4) the writings of the Church Fathers. We will be focusing our attention on the Catechism search engine.
Catechism of the Catholic Church
One of the main reasons I continue to recommend the full version of the "green" Catechism of the Catholic Church is the cross reference tools it has in the back. This website essentially duplicates that. This is a wonderful tool to have for catechists, theology students and those who simply want to study the Catholic faith more deeply.
