Bishop Michael Olson, via Catholic News Agency |
Our own Bishop Olson was on MSNBC's The Last Word discussing what the Ft. Worth Diocese is doing for the Central and South American children who have been entering the United States. He also answered questions related to Pope Francis' recent statements on the issue. As you watch the video below, make note of Bishop Olson's use of the terms "solidarity," "human dignity" and "preferential treatment" for those less fortunate. These are all principles of Catholic Social Doctrine, which we covered in our last Joe Catholic Workshop. I am including the videos from that session as well.
