Linus and the True Meaning of Christmas

Last year, I saw this video clip from A Charlie Brown Christmas on OSV Daily Take and thought I would share it with you. Linus' monologue is actually a reading of Luke's account of the Nativity.

Linus drops his security blanket at the exact point in which he mentions the Archangel Gabriel's exclamation to "be not afraid." 

One other interesting note about the Charlie Brown Christmas movie is that it was the first of comic strip's TV specials.
